The villages on the slopes of Hazar Mountain, with their pleasant climate and Rayen waterfall, which is located in the heart of the mountain, welcome many guests in spring and summer.
The Rayen waterFall, as the "Desert Paradise of Iran" with about 40 meters height, falls on the eastern front slopes of Hazar Mountain, at a distance of 14 km southwest of the Rayen.
At 4 in the afternoon, the mountaineering to the Hazar shelter started. We crossed Rayen waterfall and the mountain neck and crossed the river several times along the river, which was a bit difficult due to the darkening of air.
After walking about 5 km and increasing 350 meters height, we reached the shelter. It is worth mentioning that Hazar Shelter consists of two large and small shelter and willow trees surrounding it, but the larger shelter are more suitable.
The shelter altitude is about 3200 meters and from about 100 meters above it, snow falling started, so that we faced a complete snowfall for an hour, and at the same time the air was getting light and the sunrise and the radiance of the light on the white area of the mountain became memorable.
At several points, we encountered a partly freezing of surfaces that we passed cautiously - the scenery is fantastic and promises a completely wintery and beautiful ascent - there are no more springs along the entire route.
On the way, we have passed a point called Taj Khoros (Rooster crown) and we are at the 4100 meters height. Due to the volume of snow in some places, we have to use non-parallel paths with using hands and rocks, which are not also without danger due to the freezing surfaces.
The group quickly reduced the altitude and reached the shelter. Totally about 10 kilometers Mountain trekkingand 1,000 climbing and also the same amount for landing at the shelter.
